The masses that consisting in a combination of Indragiri Hilir to Reaching Justice (IMK) raided the Inhil Regent’s Office on Monday, Sept. 7, 2020.
The arrival of dozens of people was to sue and ask for an explanation from the Inhil Regency Government regarding the grabbing of community land in Sungai Bela Village, Kuala Indragiri District, which was allegedly carried out by one of the companies in Inhil.
The masses demanded the Inhil Regency Government to carry out the community land acquisitio, according to the previous promise.
The Field Coordinator, Sataril Gafar, in his action also demanded that the company should gives compensate the community land.
The protesters asked the Regent and Deputy Regent of Inhil to appear in front of them, but only the representatives who attended met the protesters.
“The Regent and Deputy Regent are currently on an official trip to Pekanbaru,” said Muhtar T, the head of Bappeda.
Knowing that the Bupati and Deputy Regent are not many in Tembilahan, the action period finally decided to disband.
