South Africa reported cases of corona, less than 1,000 new coronavirus infections.
This figure is the lowest daily update update in the last three months.
Reporting from AFP, Tuesday (8 September 2020), South Africa is a country with the highest cases of COVID-19 in the African continent.
South Africa has contributed more than 1.3 million coronavirus cases to the continent.
But the number of new infections has steadily declined since an average daily peak of around 12,000 in July.
According to the health ministry, South Africa recorded 845 new cases on Monday, bringing the total to 639,362.
Meanwhile, the number of deaths increased by 115 deaths, and the total to date is 15,004.
The ranking of corona cases in South Africa is currently down in the world. Initially it was ranked 5, now it is in seventh place.
