Trump cannot be trusted with a coronavirus vaccine, said Kamala Harris.
Harris’s remarks come amid concerns President Donald Trump may try to speed up a vaccine before the November 3 election.
The vice-presidential candidate from the Democratic Party, Kamala Harris, said he would not believe US President Donald Trump’s words about the efficacy and safety of the coronavirus vaccine.
In an excerpt of the interview broadcast by CNN on Saturday, Harris was asked if he was willing to take a vaccine that is approved by the US government and distributed before election day on November 3.
Kalama Harris said that it would be a problem for many people.
She also made it clear that he would not trust Donald Trump.
Previously, scientists, public health officials, and some legislators were also concerned about Trump’s steps to speed up the availability of vaccines before the presidential election.
During a CNN interview, Harris also said she did not trust the scientists and public health experts associated with the Trump administration.
She argues that if they work under pressure, they cannot accurately convey vaccine safety to the public.
