The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government affirms that the opening of cinemas has been postponed again in line with the total large-scale social restrictions (PSBB) on September 14.
Entrepreneurs gave up even though previously there were plans for theaters to open on September 10 yesterday.
The Association of Indonesian Cinema Managers (GPBSI) Djonny Syafruddin admitted that he could only surrender.
In fact, if the permit to open the cinema has been issued, said Djonny several weeks ago, then yesterday, cinemas in Jakarta and even all regions in Indonesia could be opened simultaneously.
However, to this day the permit has not been issued.
This is because there are many approval processes that must be fulfilled by the manager in order to get this permit.
Even so, Djonny emphasized that the entire process would continue.
The goal is that when the PSBB starts to be loosened again, cinemas throughout Indonesia can open simultaneously without having to do a review.
