A baby girl was found abandoned in Kampung Solok, Johor.
He was believed to have been less than 24 hours old when he was found with his umbilical cord attached, wrapped in an orange plastic bag and dumped into a drain on Jalan Kebun.
According to the Tangkak Police Chief, Inspector Mohd Fadhil Minhat, the officer on duty at the Tangkak Police Department received a call from a man.
The man informed about the abandoned baby at 6:18 p.m.
The man admitted that his son had just returned from school when he heard a baby crying in a ditch located about 50 meters from his residence.
She then wrapped the baby in a cloth, reported Harian Metro.
The video that uploaded the discovery of a baby in a plastic bag went viral on Facebook.
“An examination carried out by the medical staff found that the unidentified baby was in good health,” said Mohd Fadhil.
He was then taken by ambulance to Tangkak Hospital for further examination.
