After a video in platform TikTok showed four women cut the Merah Putih (red and white) flag went viral, the Sumedang Police, West Java, makes an investigation.
Through the video, showed three of the four women who tore up the flag then decided to cut off the national flag.
As cited News24xx.com from Kompas. com on Thursday, September 17, 2020, the National Police spokesperson Insp. Gen. Argo Yuwono via an online press conference said, “We have examined three of them identified as PO, AM, and DYH.”
Their action on the video-sharing TikTok has a duration of about 30-second. From the footage, four women were seen cutting the Indonesian flag and the pieces of the flag were tossed and left scattered on the floor.
Argo said, “From the incident, we have to confiscate a pair of scissors, pieces of the red and white flag, and a smartphone as the
evidence.”
