Canary / Dev versions of the software giant’s browser often offer new features before they are ready to trade to the general public, and one of these new features is an integrated password generator that is included in Google Chrome Does similar work.
If you have the latest version of Microsoft Edge Dev and Canary installed on your Windows PC, you can test a new feature called “Strong Password Suggestion” to create new passwords for your online accounts.
To enable this feature in Edge, go to Settings, then click Profile and go to the Password tab. Check the “Suggest strong password” setting in this menu, and once you enable it, Edge will automatically generate a password for you, which you will be able to see in plain text when you recognize the browser field.
When using the built-in password generator in your browser, many of these services also include the ability to create strong, unique passwords if you already use a password manager.
