Built to celebrate the 100th birthday of Ferruccio Lamborghini, the extremely rare Centenario is unlike any car the automaker has ever built.
After teasing him for months, Doug Demoro finally released his review of the Lamborghini Centenario and it was worth the wait. Named to mark the 100th birthday of the company’s founder, Ferruccio Lamborghini, the Centenario is a super rare car, unlike any car the company has ever built. While the platform on which it is based is Aventador, the components that make up the vehicle’s design and overall function lead to the company’s future and potentially the next flagship.
Comparing Centenario to Reventon, Doug makes a great point that much of what was coming as Aventador was clearly seen in the Reventon design and technology package. If Lamborghini were to follow the same format here, we could expect a great deal of design and technology from Centenario to make its way into the DNA of the big, bad bulls coming from St.Aggetta. This means that it may end up with a lot of uncontrolled styling signals, as we see here, the largest rear diffuser installed on a production car, possibly the largest rear turn signal ever installed in a modern supercar. And the stunning interior that has been fully updated. Other contemporary Lamborghini cars. Despite all these developments, Centenario has not forgotten its roots.
One thing we Lamborghini fans like is how foreign flagship cars can be, and that follows in the footsteps of Countach, Diablo, and MurciƩlago. The Demuro indicates some discrepancies such as how the turn signal is completely overcome by the transmission on the left side of the wheel, but the Lamborghini driver seems to have forgotten the windshield wiper rod as it aligns directly with the paddle. Imagine you are cutting straight into a Monza, trying to achieve the speed of overtaking, and when you move to the next gear, you are inadvertently changing the spaces.
This is no longer ridiculous, as there is nothing that can rival a Lamborghini in terms of sound. The 760-horsepower V12 engine naturally accelerates through a special triple exhaust that violently shakes Dog’s camera while filming in action. DeMuro reminds us that the biggest fans of the brand will clearly appreciate suffering from bizarre quirks to enjoy the barn’s worst bull.
While this is clearly a car built to be incredibly capable and fast, there is no one around the fact that the vast majority – if not 40 of these cars – are around the planet to gather interest. Will be sitting in the garage. And rightly so, Doug points out that no one wants to be someone who destroys such a piece of history as Koenigsegg has of its kind Ezra. While this may be true, we are glad that this man stretched his legs a little with the dag behind the wheel.
