LG has just launched three new K-series smartphones offering a premium design with enhanced features and functions at affordable price points. The new phones – LG K62, LG K52 and LG K42, will be available in Europe from October, followed by select countries in Asia, Latin America and the Middle East.
Sadly, these mid-range phones do not target the North American market, but we are not ruling out the possibility that slightly different versions of the LG K62, LG K52 or LG K42 will arrive in the US at some point. public.
Although no pricing is mentioned, according to the naming scheme, LG’s 42 should be the cheapest. The phone has a large 6.6-inch HD + screen, a quad-camera setup (13 MP + 5 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP) and an 8 MP secondary camera at the front. The K42 is equipped with an octa-core 2GHz processor, 3GB RAM, and 32GB or 64GB expandable storage.
The LG K42 will be available in green, gray, red and cyan, and will ship immediately with Android 10. Last but not least, the phone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a nice 4,000mAh battery.
The mid-range LG K52 phone has a similar 6.6-inch HD + screen, but slightly better quad-core configuration: 48MP + 5MP + 2MP + 2MP. In addition, the phone runs on an octa-core 2.3GHz processor and 4GB of RAM. And 64 GB (up to 2 TB) of internal memory. The remaining specifications are similar to the K42, but these specifications will be available in white, blue and red.
Finally, LG K62 has the same 2.3GHz octa-core processor, 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. It features a K52 camera setup (48MP + 5MP + 2MP + 2MP), but is powered by a 4000mAh battery and offers a 28MP selfie capture with an improved fingerprint sensor. The K62 will be available to purchase in white or sky blue.
All three smartphones in the K series offer unique camera features and superior performance. The larger battery is another feature worthy of mention. When it comes to sound, the new K-series phones feature the LG 3D sound engine, which should add enhanced immersion and amplify the vowels for ringing sounds. Not to mention, all three LG phones meet the strict US military standards MIL-STD-810G.
