Inhil-A Pelangiran resident, Indragiri Hilir (Inhil), Riau, JM was determined to kill a worker with the initials RA, Friday (18/9/2020). The victim died instantly after being hacked repeatedly by the perpetrator.
The incident started at 22.00 WIB at night, at that time, the perpetrator was at KM 00 Labor Port, Rotan Semelur Village, Pelangiran District and was about to go to the residence of a resident who was holding a celebration.
That’s when the perpetrator met the victim. Then the victim teased the perpetrator by saying that he did not want to be a farmer like the perpetrator.
“The victim said something like this, ‘When I am rich, I will no longer want to work in the garden with the tone of mocking the perpetrator,” explained Inhil Police Chief, AKBP Dian Setyawan through the Head of Public Relations of the Inhil Police, AKP Warno.
Ignoring what the victim said, the perpetrator immediately left the victim and headed for the house of the resident who was holding a celebration to see and help with the preparation for the wedding ceremony.
Furthermore, at around 23.30 WIB, when the perpetrator was in the yard of a resident who was about to hold a celebration, the perpetrator saw the victim sitting with one of the residents.
Without thinking, the perpetrator immediately took the machete in the pocai at the KM 00 Labor Port, Rotan Semelur Village.
The perpetrator returned. When he arrived at the scene of the crime, the perpetrator immediately approached the victim who was sitting and immediately attacked the victim by slashing the back of the victim’s body.
Then the victim tried to run to save himself, but after running as far as 5 meters the victim fell, and the perpetrator returned to stabbing the victim using a machete repeatedly, so that the victim suffered 10 stab wounds.
As a result of this incident, the victim bled a lot, which resulted in the victim dying on the spot.
