Riau Governor Syamsuar inaugurated and confirmed 5 regional heads in districts in Riau. The inauguration took place at the Balai Serindit Regional Building, Pekanbaru.
In accordance with the Decree of the Minister of Home Affairs, in Riau Province there are 5 regional heads who have been appointed to replace the temporary regent officials who participate in the simultaneous regional election contestation in December 2020.
The names, among others, are 1 official (Pj) and 4 Temporary Officers (Pjs).
Riau Governor Syamsuar said, for the Acting (Pj) inaugurated by the Governor of Riau Syamsuar was Assistant III of the Riau Provincial Secretariat Syahrial Abdi as Regent of Bengkalis Regency.
“This inauguration is based on the Ministry of Home Affairs Decree, I believe that you will carry out your duties as well as possible,” said the governor.
He continued, the inauguration of this Temporary Officer (Pjs) was carried out by the Head of the Riau Province Government and Regional Autonomy Bureau, Sudarman. The temporary officials (Pjs) who were inaugurated included Roni Rakhmat (Head of Riau Province Tourism) as Acting Regent of Kuantan Singingi Regency, Indra Agus Lukman (Head of ESDM Riau Province) as Acting Regent of Siak Regency, Masrul Kasmi (Expert Staff) as Acting Regent of Rokan Hulu Regency , and Rudyanto (Expert Staff) as Acting Regent of Rokan Hilir.
Indra Agus Lukman is the Head of the Riau Province ESDM Service. The position as Temporary Officer (Acting) for the Regent of Siak is only until December 5, 2020. In accordance with the period of leave of Regent Alfedri who participated in the simultaneous regional elections in 2020.
“Alhamdulillah, this inauguration ceremony went well. We hope that with the appointment of Indra as the Acting Regent of Siak, we are expected to be able to carry out programs for the future well,” said Secretary of Siak, Arfan Usman.
Arfan Usman also conveyed directions from the Acting Regent of Siak. This Monday we have a meeting of the opd staff as well as introducing greetings to all opd in Siak district.
The inauguration event, took place by implementing strict health protocols, all participants who attended wore masks and kept their distance.
