The management of PT Bank Permata Tbk said that around 4% of its 2,000 employees were positive for COVID-19.
This means that around 80 employees have been exposed to the Corona virus.
Bank Permata Head of Corporate Affairs Richele Maramis conveyed that this information was known after the company conducted a mass PCR swab test at Bintaro Tower some time ago.
The test is carried out as the company’s responsibility in carrying out preventive measures in order to maintain the safety and health of employees and customers.
Of the approximately 2 thousand permanent and outsourced employees tested at the Bintaro Tower operational office, around 4% have shown positive results for COVID-19 and are asymptomatic (OTG).
Richele ensured his management would immediately follow up on the test results by conducting contact tracing and self-isolation directions for exposed employees.
The company will also disinfect the office in accordance with regulations.
Some prevention efforts, he said, have been carried out by the company, including installing acrylic barriers in branches, regulating distance guarding, deep cleaning, split operations, working from home, and routine outreach on COVID-19 prevention in all offices and branches.
