As a form of concern for the residents affected by COVID-19, Dandim 0314 of Indragiri Hilir, Lt. Col. Inf Imir Faishal handed over groceries to residents at Kampung Jawa street, at Masjid Al Dakwah Haji Said street, Tembilahan, Indragiri Hilir Regency on Monday, Sept. 28, 2020.
The residents affected by Covid-19 received basic food assistance from Kodim 0314 / Indagiri Hilir, in the form of basic commodities such as rice, oil, and sugar.
Lt. Col. Inf Imir Faishal said this was a form of Kodim 0314 / Inhil’s concern in participating in residents in Kampung Jawa.
On that occasion, Dandim 0314 conveyed that this assistance would be useful for local residents in Kampung Jawa.
“We both hope and always pray that the Covid-19 pandemic will pass quickly and we can carry it out as before and I also advise the residents in Kampung Jawa to carry out all activities according to health protocols,” said Dandim 0314.
Dandim continued, the spread of the pandemic would be reduced if all elements from the smallest unit were compact and united to follow the health protocol and needed support from the community, from the RT, RW, Lurah, to the above.
“The Operations Task Force for Health Protocol Discipline Enforcement advise all of us to implement the 4 M, namely, we must wash our hands before/after carrying out activities both outside the home and in places of worship, we must wear masks so that we do not transmit or contract the virus. And also keep a distance in public places in every activity and the most important thing we have to avoid crowds. By adhering to the health protocols directed by the local government we will stay away from the spread of COVID-19 and we can limit and we can avoid this virus,” added the Dandim.
