Starting his duties on the first day, the Acting Regent of Siak Indra Agus Lukman held a gathering with Forkompimda and leaders of OPD and Camat within the Siak Regency Government.
The Coordination Meeting of the Siak Regency Government and the Introduction to Acting Tasks of the Siak Regent took place in the Raja Indra Pahlawan Meeting Room, the Siak Regent’s Office.
“Like a guest, you have to go in with your face, and you have to come home with your back,” said Regent Indra at the beginning of his speech on Monday (28/9/2020).
A number of important directions conveyed by the Acting Regent are related to the importance of cooperation from all parties in the prevention of COVID-19 (health protocol) and the neutrality of ASN in the Pilkada.
He conveyed, this year’s regional head elections (Pilkada) are different from the previous ones. Because, he said, the difference this year is to prioritize health protocols, and this is a new thing that is a shared responsibility.
He believes and believes that Siak is able to carry out the elections during a pandemic well.
“I believe because Siak is known for his many achievements. Starting from his administration, development, and politics. God willing, Siak is the best in Riau Province,” he said.
According to him, dealing with Covid-19 requires cooperation and self-awareness. He hopes that the government apparatus as the protector of the community will provide a good example to society.
“As ASN, we must first start. Both from the family and in the office environment to maintain conditions free from the virus,” he said.
Furthermore, the Head of ESDM Riau Province said that all State Civil Servants (ASN) must be neutral in welcoming the 2020 Pilkada.
“Do not make our assistance a barrier to the people we support. Let’s together maintain our neutrality as civil servants,” he said.
The neutrality of ASN is the main point in this year’s election. Especially the Camat and Lurah who are in direct contact with the community.
At the end of his speech, he will launch Pertamina’s Pestashop program in the villages, which is managed by the Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMKam).
“For BUMKamp that has the capital and is far from the gas station can manage this Pestashop . And hopefully, this can be carried out well” he added.
According to him, the presence of Pestashop in Siak district is expected to boost the village economy. As well as being a model for other districts in Riau Province in the future.
Also present, the Chairman of the Siak DPRD, the Regional Secretary of Siak Regency, Forkopimda, the Head of Bawaslu, the Chair of the KPU, the Head of the Ministry of Religion, the Assistant Secretariat of Siak Regency, and all OPD leaders within the Siak Regency Government.
