A mother in Gaung Subdistrict, Indragiri Hilir (Inhil), Riau found her biological child dead hanging from a rambutan tree on Thursday, Oct. 8. 2020.
The incident began when she had just returned from the garden and arrived home at around 16.00 WIB, because she did not see the condition of her son, she asked her husband.
“The husband also ordered his wife to do a search because the victim had a mental illness,” explained the Head of Indragiri Hilir Police, AKBP Dian Setyawan SH SIK Hum, through the Head of Gaung Police, AKP Anwar.
After searching, he finally found his son hanging from the rambutan tree where his son used to work.
Then she went home and told her husband that her child was hanging from the rambutan tree.
Furthermore, the victim’s mother asked the community for help to lower it from the rambutan tree, then at 16.30 WIB, the victim was taken to the funeral home.
After an examination by a doctor at the Simpang Gaung Health Center, bruises were found on the left and right sides of the neck as well as sperm from the alleged victim who hanged himself.
