We know, that many fans love hearing the stories about how their favorite K-Pop idols became stars.
And now, we talk about one of BTS’ member, V.
So let’s take a look at how BTS‘s V came to be a member of the world’s biggest boy group.
As cited News24xx.com from KoreaPop, V told that in the summer of 2011, he decided to go to a Big Hit Entertainment audition, and it turned into the biggest decision of his life for what originally started out as something of a curiosity.
V revealed that they asked him to try out the audition.
“And, so I said yes. I danced and they said do you have something else? I sang for them and they asked do you have anything else to show us? I beatboxed and they asked what else?”
“I rapped and they said what else? I brought my saxophone and played it for them to which they responded do you have anything else to show us? It was then that I finally said no I don’t have anything else to show you.”
Then, a few weeks later while he was playing in a PC room (gaming room), V got the call from Big Hit Entertainment. They stating that he passed the auditions and that he was the only person from Daegu to do so.
Then, V rushed back home to tell his grandmother.
“After Big Hit Entertainment said that I passed the audition, I leaving the PC room (gaming room) even though I still had money left on my computer. I was excited so I went home to tell my grandmother. I told her, I passed! To which she responded, “that’s a scam, my dear.”
Thankfully, a Big Hit representative reached out and contacted V’s parents to let them know of their legitimacy.
Then, V and his dad journeyed all the way to Seoul to meet up with the very company that would make him into the world star he is today.
