The Regent of Indragiri Hilir (Inhil) HM Wardan participated in the XIII Conference of the Islamic University of Indragiri (Unisi) for the 2019/2020 Academic Year virtually with the Zoom meeting from the residence of the Regent on Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2020 morning.
In this implementation, at least 317 students from the Unisi graduated, with 13 best graduates from all the Study Program in Unisi.
The XIII Convocation was attended by the Board of Trustees of the Tasik Gemilang Foundation (YTG), DR H Indra Muchlis Adnan, Chairman of the Tasik Gemilang Foundation Edy Syafwannur, Rector of Unisi DRH Najamuddin, and the Unisi Academic Community.
“Congratulations to all the graduates, even in the atmosphere of the Covid-19 pandemic. However, we must be proud because the existence of Unisi in Indragiri Hilir should be maintained because it is the only university in Indragiri Hilir Regency,” said the Regent when delivering a speech through the Zoom meeting application.
Furthermore, the Regent said that for students who had just graduated, the challenges were getting bigger, especially now that they were entering a technological era.
It makes the level of competition will be greater and employment will be increasingly difficult.
“Therefore, never be satisfied to continue enriching yourself and maintaining the good name of the alma mater and being able to create jobs,” he said.
