The Indragiri Hilir (Inhil) Resort Police succeeded in arresting the perpetrator of the methamphetamine-type narcotics crime, Thursday night, Oct. 22, 2020.
The perpetrator with the initials Y was arrested in an oil palm plantation in Sencalang Village, Keritang District.
The Inhil Police Chief, AKBP Dian Setyawan during a press conference on Friday, Oct. 23, 2020, explained that this case was revealed starting from public information that there would be methamphetamine narcotics in the Indragiri Hilir area.
During an investigation that was carried out, the goods were stored in an oil palm plantation, not far from the settlement.
When counting the evidence on the spot, it was found that there were 50 packages of crystal meth with each package weighing 1 kilogram.
“There are 50 kg of methamphetamine narcotics from Y and IDR 10 million in cash,” explained the Police Chief.
