The couple named Mark And Gemma Smith, who hail from Shanklin on the Ise of Wight, found a huge huntsman spider crawling inside the parcel.
As cited News24xx.com from the Sun, they ordered a set of three light-up Christmas boxes worth £32.99 on Amazon, and the package came 2 days later in their house.
But when Gemma opened it, she was left horrified at the 10 cm wide spider.
“She has arachnophobia because of this bad experience with spiders as a kid. I was so shocked to see it,” said Mark.
