BTS recently made a comeback with their newest album 'BE' and the main song 'Life Goes On'.
This year's American Music Awards (AMA) was officially held on Sunday, 22nd November in Los Angeles, United States. Not only giving awards to American musicians, Bangtan Boys (BTS) was also announced to have won 2 trophies.
BTS has taken home two winning trophies for Favorite Duo or Group - Pop / Rock and Favorite Social Artist at the American Music Awards 2020. This is the second year in a row that BTS won Favorite Duo or Group - Pop / Rock and their third year in a row as Favorite Social Artist.
Jimin BTS began, "Thank you ARMY and AMA for this great honor". Since BTS cannot attend the AMA’s show, so they show their gratitude through their message video.
"Wish Suga was here with us today to celebrate this day" said the leader of BTS (Rap Monster). "And we are sorry that we were unable to attend in person to receive this award, but we are still happy to be connected from Seoul," continued Jungkook.
"thank you for your continued support and love, especially in a year full of uncertainty and doubt," said RM. "In the midst of this, we want to remain as a group that brings comfort to the world through music," continued J-Hope.
"That's what we want to do with our new album as well to tell ARMY that apart from everything, our lives go on," concluded Jin. They finish their speech by saying, “Thank you again for this precious award. We love you ARMY! ”.
