Inhil-KPPBC TMP C Tembilahan destroyed illegal goods resulting from 105 prosecutions from 2018 until 2020. Worth Rp 18.7 billion of goods destroyed on Thursday, November 26, 2020.
The goods result from this prosecution was 24,986,496 illegal cigarettes, 422 cans of liquor, 67 pcs of illegal handphones, 360 cans of soft drink products, 93 bale used shoes, and 188 pcs of other prohibited items.
The total value of the destroyed goods is estimated at IDR 18.7 billion, while the potential saved state revenues are estimated at IDR 19.2 billion.
“For that, we need synergy from all stakeholders and parties, including the public, to avoid consumption and buying and selling activities of illegal goods which will eventually burden the government and harm the Indonesian people. Let’s continue to support development and government programs for an advanced Indonesia,” said Ari Wibawa Yusuf, Head of KPPBC TMPC Tembilahan, during the press release.
