Hundreds of masses on behalf of Muslims came to the Pamekasan Police Jl Stadion 81 to give moral support and reject the planned summoning of Habib Rizieq Shihab on Tuesday, December 1, 2020.
“We as Muslims reject the summoning of Habib Rizieq because it was unfairness, whereas the other group (the government) often do similar activities, but they ignored, and nothing happens,” said one of the action coordinators Mohammad Saifuddin Surur.
Also, they assess the plan to summon the Grand Imam of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) isn’t beautiful acts and tends to be discriminatory. “The people of Islam strongly disagree with this summons, and it is clearly an injustice,” he said.
“In fact, we have also conveyed to the Chief of Police about our demands, one of them so that no more discrimination to the clerics, including the Habib,” said the man who claimed to be an administrator of the Islamic Organizations Jihad Division.
In response to this, the Head of the Pamekasan Police, AKBP Ginanjar, said that he already accommodates the aspirations of the masses who came to the institution he led. “They conveyed their aspirations related to the development of news in Jakarta,” said Ginanjar.
“Meanwhile, for the demands of the masses so as not to distinguish between health protocol violators, we will continue to checks in the field, that’s all,” he concluded.
Meanwhile, when they disbanded from the Pamekasan Police Headquarters, some of the masses stopped by the family residence of the Indonesian Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs, Mahfud MD, which is located on Dirgahayu Street, Bugih Village, Pamekasan District.
