Regent of Indragiri Hilir, HM Wardan finally chose Afrizal as Regional Secretary of the District (Sekdakab) and took the oath directly on Wednesday, December 2, 2020.
Before, Afrizal was Assistant for the Economy and Development of the Regional Secretariat (Setda) of Indragiri Hilir.
“We understand that the appointment of Afrizal as the definitive Secretary of Indragiri Hilir, has gone through a fairly long process, of course with guided to statutory regulations,” explained the Regent.
It was also said by the Regent based on Government Regulation Number 11 of 2017 as amended by Government Regulation Number 17 of 2020 concerning Civil Service Management and Regulation of the Minister of PAN-RB Number 15 of 2019 mandating that the implementation of filling out JPT Pratama is carried out openly and competitively among civil servants relevant with specified requirements, either at the national level or between regencies/cities within a province.
