After the investigation was continued with the arrest of the figure of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI).
Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Yusri Yunus said that Rizieq Shihab has now been named a suspect in the activity in Petamburan, Central Jakarta.
“We will examine the person concerned as a suspect and then we will make an arrest,” said Yusri at the Metro Jaya Police Headquarters, South Jakarta on Saturday, December 12, 2020.
According to him, Rizieq’s detention was handed over to investigators during the examination process.
Determination of detention, he said, was in accordance with the authority of the investigator.
“Later, the efforts on the issue of detention will be the efforts of investigators,” he said.
