Coincides with the National Fish Day 2020, the Betta Inhil Community (KCRI) in Indragiri Hilir (Inhil) held a Betta Fish Contest for the first time, Sunday (13/12/2020) at the Futsal Venue Beringin River Tembilahan.
The betta fish contest entitled “Indragiri Betta Contest” was attended by 285 participants. Not only following participants from Inhil but also from Inhu, Dumai and Pekanbaru City and even from neighboring provinces, Jambi Province.
The categories of betta fish that contested are Plaque, Halfmoon, Crowntail / Serit, junior plaque, and AOC.
The regent of Inhil, HM Wardan, when opening this activity, conveyed this activities had a positive impact on the community, especially for lovers of betta fish or ornamental fish.
“It is hoped that the community will look for Inhil’s fishery potential. In the future, we can accommodate this. It will become a hallmark of Inhil,” said HM Wardan.
