Inhil-The abrasion occurred at Jalan Abdul Malik, RT 001/001, Tempuling Village, Tempuling District, Thursday (17/132020). The incident occurred at around 02.30 WIB.
Based on the information from the Inhil Police Chief, AKBP Dian Setyawan through the Tempuling Police Chief, AKP Subagja explained that the incident caused two residents’ houses to collapse and fall into the river.
“The house that collapsed belonged to Simin (51) and Kadir (41),” explained the police chief.
The police chief explained that the abrasion incident was first noticed by Kadir who was in the house. Kadir also heard the sound of the ground ringing and immediately went out into the yard and shouted for help.
“Seeing the house on the site slowly moving to collapse into the river, local residents came out to help,” added the police chief.
The police chief also said that in the landslide accident, there were no casualties.
“When the incident the river water was receding. Losses to residents due to this incident were estimated at Rp. 50 million,” said the police chief.
