A resident of Hidayat Village, Pelangiran District, Inhil Regency, Dani Subroto (50), was declared missing while fishing on Thursday (31/12/2020).
Dani is thought to have disappeared in the waters of Tanjung Pandak, Hidayat Village, and is estimated to have disappeared between 11.00-17.00 WIB.
Kapolres Inhil, AKBP Dian Setiawan, through Pelangiran Police Chief, IPTU Andi Ace, said that after receiving information about the victim’s disappearance, Babinkamtibmas and residents immediately searched the vicinity of the Crime Scene (TKP) and coordinated with the Teluk continued Airud Police.
“Pak Dani went fishing in the waters of Tanjung Pandak in the morning, until 17.30 WIB. He had not yet returned to his house,” said the police chief.
When the victim’s family searched for information on the victim’s whereabouts, one resident found the victim’s sampan at the TKP.
“While Pak Dani was not on the boat, it is strongly suspected that he fell into the river. Due to this incident, residents of Hidayat Village along with bhabinkamtibmas and babinsa searched,” he explained.
Finally, because of the team’s efforts, the victim who disappeared while going fishing was found on Friday (01/01/2021).
“When found, the victim was not alive. The victim found in the waters of the Kateman River in front of Parit Asia, Pelangiran Village, Pelangiran District,” continued the Head of Police.
