Head of the National Awakening Party (PKB) Riau, Abdul Wahid, assisted victims who were hit by a tornado in Kuala Selat Village, Kateman Indragiri Hilir, Tuesday (5/1/2021).
Through his colleague, Imam Taufik, who is also the head of the Kuala Selat village, Abdul Wahid, entrusted assistance for the people affected by the disaster.
“I am also concerned with the condition of the people of Kuala Selat village, which is affected by flooding due to wind storms. I hope my help can lighten the burden a little,” said Wahid.
Imam Taufik expressed his gratitude for the assistance provided.
“On behalf of the community, we, the village government, would like to thank Pak Wahid, who is always there to help,” said the Kuala Selat Village Head.
The community representatives who received assistance expressed their gratitude. They also prayed Wahid and PKB always be loved by the public.
“We feel helped by this assistance. Thank you, Wahid. I hope you and PKB always be loved by the community,” said the resident representative.
