A resident’s house in RT 03, RW 01 Sungai Dusun Kecil, Sungai Piring Subdistrict, Batang Tuaka District, Indragiri Hilir Regency, was burnt down on fire on Tuesday, January 12, 2021.
The house that burned down belonged to Halimah (30), who lives with her three children and works as a farmer every day.
“The fire quickly consumed the whole house because it was semi-permanent,” said the Rescue Chief of Indragiri Hilir (Inhil) Ediwan Shasby when confirmed.
Eddiwan said that the cause of the fire was still under investigation by the police.
The material losses are estimated at approximately IDR 30 million.
“There were no fatalities in the incident, the blackout was carried out by the local community,” he said.
