A grandfather with the initials AS (65) was arrested by the police after receiving a report from one of the residents regarding allegations of indecent acts against a girl with the initials MI (20).
The incident began, when the victim’s brother returned home and found his sister in the room only wearing underwear, and the grandfather is also in the same room.
Feeling suspicious, he also asked his younger sister, but she was silent, while AS immediately left the house.
Feeling dissatisfied with his younger sister’ answer, when his parents returned home, he asked about that incident to his sister.
Knowing about that, the victim’s parents did not accept and
immediately reported the incident to Gaung Police.
After receiving the report, the Gaung Police immediately made an arrest against the AS.
“Currently the suspect is already at the Inhil Police Headquarters for further investigation,” said Indragiri Hilir Police Chief, AKBP Dian Setyawan.
