As many as 10 villages in Indragiri Hilir (Inhil) Regency are planned to receive the PWI Inhil Award in 2021.
This is still related to the series of National Press Day (HPN) in 2021 which falls on February 9, 2021.
The chairman of PWI Inhil, Ardiansyah, said that if the 10 villages receiving the award would later be selected according to the existing assessment criteria, namely related to public information disclosure and transparency of village budget management.
“We have coordinated with the Head of PMD Inhil and immediately prepared village nominees who will receive the award,” said Ardiansyah during a visit to the PMD Inhil Office on Friday, January 22, 2021.
He added that out of 197 villages in Inhil, they would be filtered into the best 10 villages in which the assessment system involved the Inhil PMD Office.
“Because the PMD Office has the data. So we chose it not because of the closeness to the village head or just a subjective assessment,” he added.
Meanwhile, the Head of PMD Inhil Office, Budi N Pamungkas welcomed the activities to be carried out by PWI Inhil and was ready to fully support.
“This is very good, apart from being an award for the village, of course it will also benefit the village in managing village budgets that are more transparent and the more open public information at the village level,” he said.
