Rapper Iron, who was best known for being the runner-up in Show Me The Money 3, was reportedly found dead outside an apartment complex.
According to a police report via Sports Kyunghyang, the apartment’s security guard discovered Iron around 10:25 am KST, bleeding in a flowerbed outside an apartment complex. He was taken to a nearby hospital but was pronounced dead.
Back in December 2020, Iron was charged with physical assault after beating a minor with a baseball bat.
He was also charged with assaulting his girlfriend in 2017.
The police have since released a further update, sharing they don’t have many clear leads as to the cause of Iron’s death.
“We have not discovered any signs that the deceased was murdered. We also cannot confirm whether the deceased has died by suicide, as we are still investigating,” police said.
In addition, no suicide note was discovered, and police plan to discuss with the deceased’s family whether or not they wish to conduct an autopsy.
