A boy has been stabbed in broad daylight in south London. The 16-year-old victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries after being knifed this afternoon in Brockwell Park, Brixton, police said.
An air ambulance was dispatched to the location at 1:48 pm and the victim was rushed to the hospital.
The nearby Brockwell Lido Cafe closed early due to the stabbing but confirmed its staff was safe.
Police said there had been no arrests. Lambeth MPS tweeted: “Police were called at 13:48 hrs on 14 Feb to reports of a stabbing in Brockwell Park, SE24. A 16-year-old boy was taken to the hospital. His injuries are not life-threatening. No arrests and inquiries are ongoing.”
