Deputy Regent of Indragiri Hilir (Inhil), Syamsuddin Uti (SU) opened and attended a discussion on the plan for Housing Development for Settlement Areas (RP3KP) and plans for Preventing and Improving the quality of slum housing and slum settlements (RP2KPKPK) which was held on the 5th Floor of the Regent’s Office, Tuesday, 9 February 2021.
The activity organized by the Inhil Housing and Settlement Area (Perkim) Office was also attended by the Head of the Ria Provincial Housing Provider Center, Ichwanul Ihsan, the Head of BPN, the Director of Perumda PDAM Tirta Indragiri, and the Head of Inhil Perkim Services and Staff.
On this occasion, also attended by the Head of BP3 Region III Sumatra, Mr. Zubaidi, on a virtual basis.
The Vice Regent in his direction when opening the event said the Inhil Regency Government (Pemkab) should be grateful for having a working visit from the Riau Province Housing Provider Center.
“In Inhim, there are many things that need to be repaired, including slum areas that need to be fixed,” said the Vice Regent.
He added, in order to improve regional competitiveness, Inhil Regency Government must be able to fulfill the improvement of people’s welfare and fulfillment of basic needs through improving the quality of health and increasing regional connectivity and accessibility.
“In fulfilling this, the Perki Office, in accordance with its main duties and functions, must be able to fulfill the fulfillment of quality residential infrastructure, accessibility of livable houses and create a healthy housing environment. In this case RP3KP and RP2KPKP are basic data that must be owned by the district in order to realize the future development policy strategy, “said Syamsuddin Uti.
