Located at Hotel Pangeran Pekanbaru, a signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was held between the Indragiri Hilir Regency Government and Lancang Kuning University Pekanbaru, Saturday, February 13, 2021, afternoon.
The MoU was signed by the Regent of Indragiri Hilir, HM Wardan, and Lancang Kuning University Rector DR, Junaidi, witnessed by the Deputy Regent, Syamsuddin Uti, District Secretary (Sekdakab), Frizal and Chairman of the Raja Ali Haji Foundation, Prof. DR Irwan Effendi, MSc.
“With the signing of this MoU, we are present in the midst of the community, we continue to study the needs in the regions with the development of study programs. And of course, we make innovations in the field of education,” said the Rector of Lancang Kuning University, DR Junaidi, SS, M Hum when delivering his speech.
Meanwhile, the Regent of Indragiri Hilir in his remarks said that there was an MoU between Inhil Regency Government and Lancang Kuning University in this context to improve Human Resources for the apparatus.
“We are very supportive and proud. Because this is a regional university that needs to be supported by our regency in Riau Province,” said the Regent.
The Regent said, with the implementation of this MoU it is hoped that there will be some kind of relief and priority given by Lancang Kuning University.
