Formerly, this island was uninhabited and has a natural beach located on an island that has the same name as the beach, Ranoh island. After several months closed for the public, Ranoh beach was reopened and the owner rebranding it as Adventure Ranoh Island.
Not infrequently, tourists come to this island to relax and play with sand. Those who snorkel or dive will be presented with a clear view of seawater and various coral reefs and ornamental fish.

How to go to Ranoh Island
Ranoh Beach or known as Ranoh Island, which is now under the management of Adventure Ranoh Island, is about 75 minutes away from Batam Center, or about 90 minutes away from Nagoya.
The journey divide into 2 trips, both land, and sea. Land travel can be reached by private vehicles or by public transportation, with very limited choice and not tourist-friendly.
It should be noted that public transport is not always available for this Barelang route, at least by the time this article written and updated in January 2019.
There is one type of public vehicle name “KANDAP” with a route starting from SP Plaza Batuaji, ending at PT Pari Port Bridge 6 Barelang.
This Kandap transport does not have a fixed schedule, hence it is not recommended for the tourist to choose this type of transportation.
Next is the Damri bus, which sometimes also has an uncertain schedule even though this bus is from the government. And this Damri not always reach Galang Baru.
So the conclusion is, to go to Ranoh island for tourists, it is highly recommended to use private vehicles, either by rent or by using travel agent services that usually add transportation in their Adventure Ranoh Island package.
Land travel will end at the port of Labun Island.
Next, the journey continues by speedboat for about 15 minutes from the port. For those of you who are afraid of the sea, there is no need to worry, because the waves in this region are not too big and are fairly calm.
