After being inaugurated as Head of the Indragiri Hilir (Inhil) Social Service, Mr. HM Arifin is determined to maximize the function of the halfway house belonging to the Indragiri Hilir Regency Government (Pemkab).
The former head of the Public Welfare Section (Kabag) explained that Social Service would make improvements to the halfway house located on Jalan Bunga.
“We will fix the room and arrange the good governance. So, it can provide a sense of comfort to residents who stay overnight,” said Arifin on Wednesday, March 3, 2021.
Arifin hopes that the existence of the halfway house can help residents from outside Tembilahan who are undergoing treatment at the Puri Husada Tembahan Hospital.
“We want the existence of this halfway house to be really on target so that it can reduce the burden on residents who are currently undergoing treatment at the hospital,” he continued.
He also added that at this time there were several residents who were at the house, where all of them were patients who were undergoing outpatient care at Puri Husada Tembilahan Hospital.
“We want no more residents who have difficulty finding a place to rest when seeking treatment in Tembilahan. The point is we want to make the residents comfortable,” said Arifin.
