The Head of the Indragiri Hilir (Inhil) Social Welfare Activities (K3S) Coordinator, Zulaikhah Wardan, visited the Baiturrahman Halfway House located on Jalan Bunga Tembilahan on Friday, March 5, 2021.
The arrival of the wife of the Regent of Indragiri Hilir to the halfway house under the auspices of the Indragiri Hilir Social Service (Dinsos), was greeted directly by the Head of Social Affairs HM Arifin and his staff, as well as patients and their families who were following the treatment process at the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) Puri Husada, Tembilahan.
On this occasion, Zulaikhah also handed over aid that consisting of basic necessities and others for patients and their families.
In her remarks, Zulaikhah stated that the Social Service had to program the provision of assistance for poor patients and their families or companions during the treatment process in Tembilahan, such as transport costs and others.
“So, later we hope that there will be no more people who refuse to seek treatment because there is no cost,” she said.
This must be supported by good cooperation with the sub-district, sub-district / village.
“This is because the local apparatus knows more about the condition of the people in their environment,” she added.
