The Association of Indonesian District Governments (APKASI) held the 5th pre-National Conference (Munas) in 2021.
The pre-Munas was also attended by the Regent of Indragiri Hilir (Inhil) Regency, HM Wardan through a live zoom meeting from the multi-media room of Inhil’s Diskominfo press.
On this occasion, the Regent was accompanied by the Head of the Inspectorate, the Head of the Parporabud Office, the Head of BPKAD, and several echelon officials within the Indragiri Hilir Regency Government.
The 5th Pre Munas was opened directly by the General Chairperson of APKASI Abdullah Azwar Anas and attended by all Regents throughout Indonesia.
In his speech, the General Chairperson of APKASI said that the 5th National Conference would be held on March 25, 2021, and opened directly by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo.
Meanwhile, Regent Wardan, who was asked for his statement after participating in the pre-munas, said Apkasi itself is a forum or a forum for Regency Governments in partnership with the Central Government.
Furthermore, the Regent explained that the existence of Apkasi is expected to create a democratic atmosphere in the relationship between the central government and regional governments.
“Regarding the relationship of authority, policies between the central government and the regions. The goal is that they become mature materials and can be thoroughly discussed at the upcoming National Conference,” the Regent concluded.
