Residents of Dusun Dua RT 006, RW 004, Bayas Jaya Village, Kempas District, Indragiri Hilir Regency were shocked by the discovery of a woman’s body.
The victim, known by the initials S (50), works as a housewife.
Kapolres of Indragiri Hilir, AKBP Dian Setyawan through the Kapolsek Kempas, AKP Handoko on Saturday (27/3/2021) at around 09:00 am, local time, the victim’s son saw his mother leaving the house to deliver palm scales to the Pustu Gang which is located on the edge of Jalan Lintas Rengat -Additionally by riding a motorbike.
“After leaving, the child did not see his mother returning to the house. Not long after, a local resident named Katingan found the victim’s motorbike collapsed on the edge of a ditch. At that time, Katingan saw the victim in naked condition, and died, “explained the police chief.
Katingan went straight to the Bayas Jaya Sub-Sector Police.
“The victim has been taken to the Kempas Health Center for a post mortem, we are currently investigating the case,” he continued.
The police chief also conveyed the results of the temporary post mortem from the Kempas Health Center.
“It was stated by the Puskesmas that the victim was strongly suspected of having run out of breath and it was suspected that the victim’s head was buried in a ditch. There were no signs of rape such as sperm, while the scar on the side of the chest was also suspected as a result of violence,” said Kapolsek Kempas.
The police also found a motorbike, a headscarf, flip-flops, t-shirts, batik pants, and a bra belonging to the victim as evidence.
