Entering the Holy Month of Ramadan 1442 H which is still in the midst of the Covid-19 Pandemic, the Regent of Siak Drs. H Alfedri MS, I appealed to all Siak Regency residents, in particular, to maintain their health and continue to comply with the Covid-19 health protocol, during their activities and also worship at every existing place of worship.
“Considering that the Covid-19 virus is still around us today, I urge all people to maintain their health during the holy month of Ramadan and also continue to adhere to the health protocols provided in each place of worship later,” Alfedri told Riau24.com, on Monday, April 12, 2021.
Given that 2021 is the second year after the Coronavirus has spread since last year, and this year’s Ramadan is still in the middle of the pandemic virus from Wuhan, he added.
Health is very important to maintain because if we are healthy, the body’s immunity is also good so that we can carry out fasting solemnly.
On the same occasion, the Regent of Siak also advised the community to maintain health protocols by washing hands, wearing masks and maintaining distance when performing worship such as tarawih prayers at the mosque, because considering tarawih prayers are now allowed to be held at the mosque, however, the community still has to maintain and comply with the health protocols set by the mosque committee.
“I congratulate all the people of Siak and hopefully we will always be protected by ALLAH SWT,” he concluded. (Adv)
