The chairman of Dekranasda Indragiri Hilir, Zulaikhah Wardan, participated in an event held by the Riau Provincial Government, namely the Riau International Fashion Festival 2021 at Living World Pekanbaru on Thursday, April 1, 2021.
On that occasion, the wife of the Regent of Indragiri Hilir appeared in a red-hearted dress, which was none other than the typical batik of the Indragiri Hilir.
Zulaikhah Wardan said that this moment was very good in order to promote regional handicrafts, especially from Indragiri Hilir.
“We appear directly in accordance with the direction of Mrs. Dekranasda of Riau Province, that it is hoped that the Heads of the City District Dekranasda will change their appearance directly to present products of their respective regions,” she said.
With this event, he hopes that he will also be able to open the eyes and inspiration of everyone, especially teenagers, to be creative by exploring regional potential.
