Narmada Park is an artificial garden that has a variety of beautiful gardens and ponds located in Lembuak Village, Narmada District, West Lombok Regency.
Besides being beautiful and soothing, Narmada Park has a high historical value. It was first built in 1927.
Initially, the Narmada Park served as a place to hold a special ceremony or sacrificial ritual. Until now, the ritual is still carried out by indigenous Lombok residents who are Hindus.
In the ritual, they throw things in honor of the guardian God of Mount Rinjani.
The Narmada Park is also used as a resting place for the royal family, especially during the dry season.
This is because the park still has a soothing and beautiful atmosphere. The name Narmada itself is taken from Narmadanadi, a tributary of the Gangga that is considered sacred in India. In Hindu belief, water is a very important element that gives life to all living things in the world.

The Fountain of Youth
One of the things that make Narmada Park was famous is Bale Petirtaan, within there is a wellspring which is the confluence of three water sources: Suranadi, Lingsar, and Narmada itself. Hinduism people believed this water as a Tirta or sacred water, and visitors believed that sacred water was a wellspring of youth.
Bale Terang (Bale Loji)
Narmada was built by King Anak Agung Ngurah Karangasem in 1727 AD, as the resting place of the royal family. Bale Loji shaped like a house stage consisting of the basement that serves as a warehouse.
Its upper part is divided into three sections, two sections at the ends (north and south) as a king bed.
Meanwhile, the living room is an open area as the king saw the sights eastward in the direction of Meru.
Not only Meru, from Bale Terang, but visitors can also enjoy the swimming pool view with clear water and from long-distance looks a red flowering tree, which breathed fresh aroma typical of forest flowers.

Pura Narmada
The sacred building of Pura Narmada is also not less interesting to catch the visitors’ attention. This temple is one of the eight oldest temples on Lombok island.
