Mulyono, a resident of Empang Pandan Village, also admitted that he was grateful for the assistance.
“We are very happy because we feel very cared for,” he said.
Aswin, the leader of Kuala Gasib, also expressed his appreciation for the attention and assistance given to its residents.
He considered that the attitude shown by the Siak Family Welfare Empowerment and regional companies was a role model for others.
“Of course I would like to thank you for your help. Hopefully what this has done will be an inspiration for myself and private companies in this sub-district who want to share with people in need, ”he said.
Meanwhile, the head of Siak Family Welfare Empowerment, Rasidah said that her party and Bumi Siak Pusako company are working together to help the community.
“We only hope that this assistance will receive the blessing of Allah SWT for our blessings in this month of Ramadan,” said Rasidah at the Putri Kaca Mayang Koto Gasib Building.
Furthermore, she hopes that the covid19 outbreak will end soon so that the economy can recover and get better.
The second day of the provision of basic food packages took place in Koto Gasib and Mempura Districts. Each sub-district received 40 basic food packages for the poor, widows, and pre-prosperous families.
