As a result of the VIIIth Gemar (Gemar) Community Movement and Phase II Zakat distribution in 2021, in Sungai Apit District, the Regent of Siak Alfedri again appealed and reminded.
“I again remind people who already have assets up to Nisab, and have excess assets to pay Zakat to Baznas Siak Regency, as well as Amil Zakat bodies in sub-districts and villages. And remind us to give more donations especially in this month of Ramadan “this was conveyed by the Regent Siak Alfedri, at the Masjid Al-Hidayah Sungai Apit.
Alfedri also conveyed to the Muzaki and impossible attendees, that the zakat distributed to mustahik today is the result of collecting zakat that has been accomplished by the Muzaki in Sungai Apit sub-district.
“Therefore, it is hoped that the Mustahik who have received the zakat can pray for the Muzaki (people who pay zakat) so that they will always be given health and strength and get blessings”, asked the Regent Alfedri.
Furthermore, Alfedri conveyed how our people who have not paid their zakat, be it zakat on agricultural products, zakat on income, and zakat from professions to pay their zakat.
Alfedri explained that there are many economic problems in the community that has been helped by Baznas Siak Regency, through zakat on productive patterns such as livestock, agriculture, and trading business capital.
“Therefore, let us distribute our zakat to Baznas Siak Regency so that our Mustahik (the poor and poor people) will be more and more helped”, Alfedri said.
Chairman of Baznas Siak District H. Abdul Rasyid Suharto Pua Upa M.Ed through Deputy Head of Ustad H. Samparis Bin Tatan’s Collection Division said that the second stage of Zakat distribution in Sungai Apit District is a consumptive pattern of 97 people, each receiving IDR 700,000.
While the collection of Zakat at the Gemar Siak Berzakat VIII event in Sungai Apit District collected IDR 37,700,000.
