After a porn video becomes viral among Balinese this week, police have confirmed, as authorities work to identify the foreigners.
A short and censored clip taken from the original video started circulating widely online after it was shared by popular community accounts in Bali.
Netizens say that the video was taken on Mount Batur, which is considered one of the most sacred spots in Bali.
And also, people assumed that the video was taken during the pandemic, as the woman — identified as a Russian adult model — was wearing a mask on her chin in the clip.
The video was first uploaded to Pornhub about a year ago and has been viewed more than 1.2 million times.
Bangli precinct chief I Gusti Agung Dhana Aryawan said, “We are coordinating with immigration to find out whether or not the people concerned are still in Bali. Our officer found the location, specifically along the hiking trail of Mount Batur, a bit above Pasar Agung Temple.”
If the people in the video still stay in Indonesia, they may be charged with public indecency under Indonesia’s criminal code (KUHP), which carries a maximum prison sentence of two years and eight months in prison.
