This activity was started by the Regent with Friday Prayers, in which he appeared as both the imam and preacher.
The Regent realized that this year’s Ramadan safari was carried out somewhat differently from previous years. This is because the Covid-19 pandemic conditions are still endemic in the Indragiri Hilir Regency area in particular.
“We are currently implementing the Covid-19 vaccine. I hope that if the vaccine schedule reaches Kempas District, the community will not refuse to be vaccinated, because this is one of our efforts to increase immunity, hopefully in the future Covid-19 will end quickly,” he said.
According to him, the Covid-19 outbreak affected many sectors. Not only the economy of the community, but one of them also has an impact on regional development plans that use the APBD.
Even so, the Regent hopes that this year he can carry out APBD activities as expected. Especially for the Kempas District area, there are several activities that must be carried out.
Even the number one person in the Land of Coconut World is still in doubt whether he can fully implement it or not, because the existing budget can be used at any time to handle Covid-19 in Indragiri Hilir Regency.
For this reason, he appealed to the public to always be disciplined in implementing health protocols.
“So, don’t believe there is negative information about the effects of vaccines on our bodies,” he said.
Simultaneously with this activity, the Regent also provided compensation of IDR 2 million for orphans.
The compensation was received by the At-Takwa Mosque management which was attended by several echelon II officials of the Inhil Regency Government, the Kempas Sub-District Head, the Head of the Village, and the ranks of Kempas District employees.
