The Regent of Indragiri Hilir Regency (Inhil), HM Wardan released 2700 premium packages of Ramadhan Blessing 1442 Hijriyah (H) from the National Zakat Agency of Indragiri Hilir Regency, Saturday, on May 1, 2021, at the Z shop yard, Sungai Beringin street, Tembilahan.
Thousands of Ramadan Premium Packages will be distributed to Mustahik.
The Regent of Indragiri Hilir Regency, HM Wardan, said that there is an increase in the number of premium packages for Ramadan this year.
When compared to the previous year, the addition of the premium Ramadan package this year is so significant that it has almost tripled.
“This addition is based on the results of evaluation and input from several parties looking at the economic conditions of the community this year. Previous years, only 1000 packages,” said the Regent after releasing thousands of Ramadan premium packages.
The Regent said that the thousands of Ramadhan premium packages will be distributed to each sub-district in Indragiri Hilir regency as many as 50 packages for each district.
In addition, the Regent revealed, 1000 Ramadan premium packages will be distributed through Muslimah NU.
“Meanwhile, 700 premium packages for Ramadhan will be distributed through other organizations and Baznas Indragiri Hilir itself to other Mustahiks,” explained the Regent.
The regent targets that the distribution of the premium Ramadhan package will be completed by May 5 with a scheduled departure time of 2 days, namely May 1 and 2, 2021.
For information, the premium Ramadhan package that will be distributed to Mustahiks contains a number of basic ingredients, including 1 box of Lion Star, 500 Gram Tunisian Dates, curried milk rice, Milo sachets, sweetened condensed milk, coffee, cooking oil, syrup, granulated sugar, and tea bag.
From a number of staple ingredients, the Regent hopes that in the future the rice in the premium package can use local rice. According to the Regent, currently, superior local rice has also been widely available in Indragiri Hilir Regency, such as in Kempas District.
“In addition, we can also empower the MSME business group in Indragiri Hilir so that it can have a domino effect in the form of increased productivity and the community’s economy,” explained the Regent.
