The Siak Regency Government (Pemkab), Riau Province, will continue to close all tourist attractions for the time being.
The Regent of Siak, Drs H Alfedri MS.i said the closure was carried out based on various considerations.
“All types of tourist attractions such as the Siak Palace, Tangsi Netherlands and others will remain closed with some considerations. This is done to reduce the spread of Covid-19 in the Siak Regency area,” said the Regent of Siak.
The Siak Regent also appealed to all Siak Regency people to stay at home.
“We urge all people to jointly refrain from staying at home unless there is something very important and cannot be postponed to do so, let’s prevent the spread of Covid – 19 by continuing to apply the 5 M (Wearing a Mask, Maintaining Distance, Washing Hands With Soap, Avoiding Crowds, and Reducing Mobility and Interaction), ” said the Regent.
Meanwhile, the Siak Police continues to tighten checks at the insulating posts in anticipation of backflow.
“To anticipate the backflow we will tighten the inspection, if there are residents who return to carry out the homecoming we will do a Rapid Test on the person concerned, if the results are reactive we will immediately quarantine the person concerned, for visitors from outside the city we will continue to reverse it,” said the Regent of Siak.
