Originally from Umalas, North Kuta, Sinnamon is set to open its doors on Cikajang street, near South Jakarta’s hip area of Senopati.
Sinnamon becomes the cinnamon rolls specialist dining spots in Bali are branching out to the capital.
The store will give free cinnamon rolls for their first 200 customers who order drinks.
The bakery wrote on its Instagram page that the Jakarta outlet would be ideal for remote work, promising “amazing coffee, super-fast wi-fi” in addition to its signature soft cinnamon buns.
Sinnamon, which champions classic cinnamon rolls, offers two kinds of icing :
OG and Cream Cheezin’ — priced at IDR35,000 each or IDR120,000 for a pack of four rolls :
- Giant Cinnamon Roll,
- Giant Vegan Roll,
- 4-pack Coco-Almond Vegan Roll,
- Cinamel Vegan Roll.
Sinnamon joins the likes of French bakery Monsieur Spoon, opened its first Jakarta outlet at Pantai Indah Kapuk’s Urban Farm.
The famous Australian-inspired café in Seminyak branched out to the capital earlier this year, bringing along its sister brand Sibling Espresso Bar, which is described as a “small-batch coffee roaster and espresso bar.”
Both brands are managed under 8 Degree Projects, a Bali-based hospitality and lifestyle group that also houses Bikini, Fika, and Bo$$man Burger in Seminyak — the latter of which arrived in Jakarta last year.
Earlier Bali-based establishments that have expanded to Jakarta include Pison Coffee, which has been among Senopati’s popular coffee shops since opening in 2018.
